This isn’t your mother’s daybed...

... say the guys over at Muted.com - a site for guys who are looking for well-designed, high-quality products. Thanks for the write up.

This isn’t your mother’s daybed. CB2 is the modern arm of Crate and Barrel and besides having a brand new collaboration with the guys from The Hillside, they also create some pretty awesome furniture. One of their pieces that I like is the CB2 Lawndale Leather Daybed ($1800 and designed by Leonhard Pfeifer). Measuring just under 80 inches it would make a perfect accent piece to any room. It’s obvious to see the Midcentury influence on this piece. From the metal frame to the low profile, it’s screaming to be the only item in a room.

The Lawndale is made from rich buffalo leather from rural India. The leather has been dyed and tumbled for a soft, supple feel. It’ll seem like you’ve had it forever and it’ll continue to patina making it one of your favorite pieces for years to come.
